Thank you to the wonderful women  of the St. Katherine’s Greek Orthodox Church – Ladies Philotochos Society – who recently donated $1,350. to Laces of Love.

I wanted to share a wonderful experience thanks to Laces of Love. A little girl came into the clinic during PE class and complained that her toes hurt. She was wearing a size 2 shoe when she needed a 4! It turns out she is one of four siblings and they all needed shoes that fit. I was able to give the children brand new shoes thanks to Laces of Love. The touching part was being able to see the joy on their faces. They were so excited! I have never witnessed such genuine gratitude over something so simple. My name is Tony Negron & I am a 7th grader at Gulfview Middle School…  My sneakers that I had were too small & through Laces of Love I was able to get a new pair which I am very thankful for. Without Laces of Love I would not have been able to get a nice pair to wear to school. Thank you!

424 (!!) needy kids will have NEW shoes thanks to the Ladies of Naples Lakes!  Their recent luncheon donation of new sneakers represented well over $6,000 in contributions.  THANK YOU to these wonderful supportive women!

We are so grateful for the selection of styles and sizes of shoes that you provide to help our students. It has been to our amazement that when we go to replace the worn out shoes, in some cases the students have needed a pair of shoes two and even three sizes bigger. No wonder the toes were popping through and the shoes falling apart and those poor growing feet…how nice it is to see them be able to wiggle their toes. Thank you for providing a better fit for the students at GGE!

Thank you to Tamra Nashman and the TAMRA & FRIENDS BENEFIT CONCERT for LACES of LOVE which was Sunday, March 11, 2012.  A fun Silent Auction at 5:30 pm preceeded the 7:00 pm Concert, “A Night of Musical Delights” - featuring a musical medley, Jazz to Broadway!  The concert was at the Covenant Presbyterian Church, 6976 Trail Blvd., Naples  34108.

Thank you very much Laces of Love for providing my little sister Maria with a pair of sneakers. It is really appreciated at Poinciana Elementary School.

We, The Clewiston Tigers Basketball Team, would like to Thank LACES of LOVE for donating new shoes to our team. It is a blessing, and we are humble and grateful. This act of kindness will be in our hearts forever. Once again, we appreciate everything that you have done. Because of LACES of LOVE, our team will play with passion and love.

Thank you Laces of Love for providing Leyd with a pair of new shoes as his old soles were detached from his shoe. He was so grateful and proud of his new pair of shoes and was looking forward to running full speed at recess. You are the BEST and Mike Davis Elementary School appreciates YOU!!!

I ran into a colleague walking down the hallway with a first grade student. I said hello and asked the student how he was doing. The student didn’t answer and my colleague, Don, motioned that the student does not speak. We continued down the hall, and I noticed that the student’s toes were pushing through the front of his shoes. I told the student that I noticed his shoes looked tight and said that I would see if we had a pair that would fit him. Don spoke with the student about using his voice and words and encouraged him to say “yes” out loud before he returned to class. Most were wearing shoes that had been passed down from siblings and cousins.  It’s amazing how well they take care of these shoes and try to keep them clean even when you can see the soles are wearing thin and falling apart.  It was amazing to see the joy on their faces and watch them run around with excitement in their new shoes.
